Vaulta is a Web3 banking ecosystem that originated from the EOS network and is designed to bring together traditional financial services and crypto technology into one secure, fast, and scalable solution. Vaulta does not focus on hype or speculation, but on developing real applications that enhance financial services for both consumers and businesses.

Vaulta functions as a fully-fledged financial operating system based on blockchain technology. The network offers real-time transaction processing, tokenization of physical assets such as real estate, returns on Bitcoin, and cross-border payments with stablecoins. These applications are directly linked to a compliant infrastructure, allowing Vaulta to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized technology.

Central to the ecosystem is the Vaulta token (A), which replaced the original EOS token at the end of May 2025 through a 1:1 conversion. The A token serves multiple functions: it acts as fuel for transactions, grants voting rights within governance, and provides access to network resources such as storage and computing power. Users can also stake the token or use it as collateral for DeFi services.

Vaulta stands out with advanced technology (such as the Savanna consensus with finality within one second), user-friendly applications, and institutional reliability. The network is built on a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) model where block producers are democratically elected. These block producers manage the security of the network and are evaluated by the community.

For developers, Vaulta offers a powerful technical foundation. Thanks to compatibility with Solidity (Ethereum) and C++, they can easily build dApps or migrate existing applications. Vaulta also supports cross-chain communication via the Antelope IBC protocol, allowing assets to move between blockchains.

The goal of Vaulta is clear: to make financial services more accessible, reduce transaction costs, increase speed, and give control back to users. Vaulta does not position itself as an ordinary blockchain, but as the backbone of the banking of the future: decentralized, transparent, and efficient.

Who founded Vaulta?

Vaulta emerged from a rebranding of the EOS network and is supported by a global community of developers, entrepreneurs, and financial experts. The key parties include the Vaulta Foundation, Vaulta Labs, Vaulta Middleware (formerly Greymass), Vaulta Ventures, and a network of elected block producers. Together, they manage the infrastructure, decide on protocol changes, and drive the growth of the ecosystem. This decentralized setup promotes transparency, continuity, and community-driven innovation.

Vaulta offers a wide range of applications for users and developers. Below are the main features:

  • Asset management: Vaulta combines CeFi and DeFi to offer secure and profitable strategies, with support for staking, yield farming, and institutional methods through partners like Ceffu.
  • International payments: Through collaborations with VirgoPay, Vaulta offers direct stablecoin payments without delays or high costs. This makes the platform ideal for cross-border transactions.
  • Asset tokenization: Users can purchase real estate, commodities, or private equity as tokens, directly through the Vaulta platform.
  • Insurance: Through Blockchain Insurance Inc, crypto assets can be insured against risks such as bugs in smart contracts or storage issues.
  • Staking and governance: The A-token can be used for network rewards and for voting rights on protocol decisions, such as upgrades and fund allocation.
  • dApp development: Vaulta supports Solidity and C++, allowing developers to quickly build Web3 apps or migrate existing dApps.

Vaulta combines various technical components into a scalable, secure, and user-friendly blockchain network. The key elements:

Delegated Proof-of-Stake in Savanna consensus

Vaulta uses a DPoS mechanism where holders of the A-token vote for block producers. They validate transactions, maintain the network, and participate in governance. The Savanna consensus layer ensures finality within one second, thanks to BLS-based quorum certificates and pipelined block production. This provides high reliability and minimal delay.

RAM-based storage and processing speed

The network uses an on-chain RAM structure to store data and provide quick access to transactions. This makes it possible to process high volumes without delay. For integration with Bitcoin via exSat, this structure is optimized for efficiently managing UTXO data.

exSat: DeFi for Bitcoin

The exSat layer enables Bitcoin to be used within DeFi applications. BTC is thus not only seen as digital gold but also as an active means for returns, such as through lending or yield strategies.

Cross-chain interoperability

With the Antelope IBC protocol, tokens and data can be transferred between blockchains. This makes Vaulta suitable for real-time applications such as payments, investing, and tokenization.

Developer environment and compatibility

Vaulta supports Solidity and C++ and offers SDKs for frameworks like Vue, React, and Svelte. Through the Unicove portal, developers can easily manage accounts, allocate resources, and execute smart contracts.

Governance and ecosystem growth

Holders of the A-token have voting rights on protocol changes, project funding, and the selection of block producers. Vaulta Ventures and Vaulta Labs support new initiatives and developers. This decentralized collaboration encourages continuous growth of the ecosystem.

The maximum supply of the A-token is 2.1 billion tokens, with a built-in halving cycle of four years. As a result, the number of new tokens entering circulation annually gradually decreases, leading to declining inflation and potentially increasing scarcity.

The A-token is used for:

  • Staking
  • Payment of transaction fees
  • Access to network resources such as RAM, storage, and computing power
  • Participation in on-chain governance

In addition, the token serves as a liquidity medium within Vaulta's own DeFi layer and plays a key role in the tokenization of physical assets such as real estate and commodities.

Technically, the A-token is designed for high interoperability. Thanks to support for decentralized Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC), the token can move seamlessly between different blockchains. Moreover, owning the A-token is required to use the Vaulta infrastructure, such as calling smart contracts or deploying network capacity.

The distribution of the A-token is carefully structured: a portion goes to staking rewards within the protocol (85,600 tokens daily), a portion to ecosystem development through Vaulta Ventures and Vaulta Labs, and the remaining portion is allocated for liquidity, governance, and operational costs.

Vaulta stands out from other blockchain projects due to its technological depth, user-friendliness, and clear focus on real-world applications. Below are five features that make Vaulta truly unique:

  • Savanna consensus with 1-second finality: Vaulta uses an advanced consensus algorithm that ensures transactions are finalized within one second. This makes the network particularly suitable for payments and financial applications where speed is crucial.
  • exSat integration for Bitcoin-native DeFi: Instead of using Bitcoin solely as a store of value, Vaulta enables direct yield on BTC without transferring it to other blockchains.
  • RAM-based storage architecture: Vaulta utilizes an on-chain RAM database for fast storage and data access. This approach supports high processing speeds and scalability, allowing institutional applications to function seamlessly.
  • Cross-chain interaction via Antelope IBC: Vaulta supports communication between different blockchains through the Antelope IBC protocol, which allows assets to be easily moved without delay or the intervention of a central party.
  • Institutional compliance and permissioning: Vaulta combines DeFi technology with advanced access controls and identity layers. This makes the network appealing to banks and regulated institutions that require compliance and control.
