Bitvavo will support the Render (RNDR) token swap and rebranding to Render (RENDER)

We will support the Render (RNDR) token swap to Render (RENDER). Read this article for our timeline.

Bitvavo will stick to the following timeline for the swap:

- On the 19th of July at 10:00 CEST, deposits for Render (RNDR) will be closed.

- On the 19th of July at 14:00 CEST, buying and selling for Render (RNDR) will be halted.

- On the 19th of July at 16:00 CEST, withdrawals for Render (RNDR) will be closed.

- On the 26th of July, or earlier, Render (RNDR) will be converted to Render (RENDER) at a conversion rate of 1 RNDR = 1 RENDER. 

- Bitvavo plans to support trading, deposits, and withdrawals for Render (RENDER) on the Solana (SOL) network on or around July 26th.

What do you have to do?

If you want your Render (RNDR) to be swapped for Render (RENDER), then no action is required. Bitvavo will automatically facilitate this swap for you. After the swap, Render (RNDR) will be closed indefinitely. If you don't want us to convert your balances to Render (RENDER), we advise you to withdraw your assets before the 19th of July. 

About the upgrade from RNDR to RENDER

The Render Network, initially launched as an Ethereum (ETH) project in 2017, transitioned to a Solana (SOL) project in 2023 following a community vote. The switch to Solana was proposed to facilitate faster transactions, reduce fees, and meet the project's ambitious goals, which require increased on-chain data and transactions.
