We will support the xMoney (UTK) token swap and rebranding to xMoney (XMN). Read this article for our timeline.

Bitvavo will stick to the following timeline for the swap:

  • On Wednesday 24 September 2025 at 11:00 CEST, buying and selling for UTK will be stopped.

  • On Wednesday 22 October 2025 at 10:00 CEST, deposits for UTK will be closed.

  • On Wednesday 22 October 2025 at 11:00 CEST, withdrawals for UTK will be closed.

  • Any UTK (ETH network) remaining on Bitvavo after Wednesday 22 October 2025, 11:00 CEST will automatically be converted to XMN (SUI network) at a conversion rate of 3 UTK = 1 XMN on Friday 24 October 2025, or earlier.

What are your options?

If you withdraw your UTK to a self-custody wallet, you can choose:

  • Swap UTK (ETH) to XMN (SUI) at a rate of 1 UTK = 1 XMN with a six-month lock-up period;

  • Swap UTK (ETH) to XMN (SUI) at a rate of 3 UTK = 1 XMN without a lock-up period;

  • Take no action, but please note that UTK may decrease in value over time and support may cease at a certain point.

We will automatically swap your UTK for XMN at the conversion rate of 3 UTK = 1 XMN if your balance remains on Bitvavo after 22 October 2025. After the swap, UTK will be closed indefinitely.

About the switch from UTK to XMN

The transition from UTK to XMN marks the rebranding of xMoney, expanding the ecosystem and introducing XMN on the SUI network.
