Story is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to tokenize and manage intellectual property (IP) assets. By embedding IP rights into smart contracts, Story aims to streamline IP management and foster decentralized collaboration. Its native cryptocurrency, IP, facilitates transactions within the ecosystem, enabling creators to monetize their work through transparent licensing and automated royalty payments. Note that, at the time of the asset release in February 2025, 75% of the total token supply was locked. As these tokens are gradually unlocked and put into circulation, this could introduce additional price dilution and associated risks for holders.
