Initia is a network that combines a Layer 1 blockchain with a system of customizable appchains called Interwoven Rollups, allowing teams to build custom application-specific blockchains with shared standards for a unified multichain ecosystem. These rollups, running on EVM, MoveVM, or WasmVM, achieve 10,000 transactions per second with 500ms block times and use the Cosmos SDK for transaction ordering and MEV internalization. At the core of Initia’s L1 is Enshrined Liquidity, a modified Proof of Stake system where INIT-denominated liquidity is staked with validators to secure the network and serve as multichain liquidity. The Initia VIP program distributes INIT to align economic incentives, encouraging ecosystem participants to support Initia’s success by attracting and retaining users and boosting demand for INIT.
